Today he works as a well regarded record producer.
Artists he has worked with include The Band (an offshoot of the band Nena), Bonnie Tyler, Wyclef Jean, Manfred Krug, Nina Hagen and Rammstein!

Jens Kuphal was born in 1964. He studied as sound engineer at Hansa studios Berlin followed by the Abitur from 1985-87. In the years 1988-90 he worked with Nina Hagen. After this he worked with various artists, such as Nena and Wiebke Schroeder. Since 1991 Jens has created numerous compositions for television, including, German wave television, the ZDF (title music for the Olympic plays 1996) and for Dieter of whisk film 'Der shadow man'. In 1992 he created the company Nucleus Music Production. In 1996, he composed the music for the German contribution to the Cultural Olympics in Atlanta. In 1997 he was nominated for the 'Prix the Benois de la Danse Unesco' for one of his compositions.
